Grammar and Vocabulary

Know – How

Например , now, at the moment – Present Continuous; since, for – Present Perfect; some years ago, last summer – Past Simple, etc.
Например , work – worker (s) (имя существительное), have been working (глагол в Present Perfect Progressive), workless (прилагательное).
The more, the better) Например , hot – hott er – the hott est, easy — easi er – the easi est, popular – more popular – the most popular, little – less – the least.
Например , foot — feet, deer – deer, formula – formulae , wolf – wolv es, cliff – cliffs, potato – potatoes, zero – zeros; children’s room, parrots’ cage.
St Paul’s Cathedral was built by Christopher Wren.
Например, He said (главное предложение) that he would send (Future-in-the-Past) me an e-mail the following day.
Jane will ring me up as soon as she arrives (Present Simple) in London.
  • С числительными дело обстоит проще: из количественных (one, two, three, etc.) нужно образовать порядковые (the first, the second, the third, etc.)

(this-these)
